Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser took time out of her busy schedule to issue a Proclamation to the DC Pro-Duffers and the Richard Carter Foundation for their community efforts to advance the game of golf in establishing the $100, 000 scholarship fund with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Giving.
The source of funding is through two channels (1) Chapter Membership donations and (2) the annual Memorial Golf Tournament.
Over the past three decades the Fund has contributed over $200,000 to deserving students. The Fund is a Tax exempt 501 (c) (3) entity

The Pro-Duffers of Washington DC Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. (the Fund) was established in 1995 with the main purpose of providing financial assistance to worthy college and college bound students and to support student academic achievement.
